艺·凯旋画廊荣幸地宣布将于2018年8月5日举办“艺·凯旋夏季特别展——绿光（第二回）”，展览将呈现徐弘、杨黎明、潘剑、涂曦、吕松、许宏翔六位艺术家的作品。

绿光，作为一种天文现象由于其罕见人们通过想象发展成为了某种完美的预言，这种模式暗合了当今艺术的某种特点：相信偶然，相信某种天地人和集力造势而成，艺术的成功成为了某种实践操作的方法，其本质意义被外部遮掩、消解。伴随着中国社会经济的高速发展，当代艺术所处的外部环境更加商业化和复杂化，面对纷繁的信息和多元化的思想交融，艺术家自身也面临着作品表达内容和方式的更多选择。不同于前辈艺术家更加关注于身处的社会环境，此次参展的六位艺术家的共同点在于他们都十分注重对个体生命经验的感悟和表达，他们的创作运用个人化的语言，具有个人化的风格，阐述个人化的观念。参展艺术家更多地将注意力投向自身，透过自我审视而获得创作的灵感，进而借助作品将个体情感和体验表达出来，这种“内观”式的创作也正体现了艺术本来的意义，即艺术回归有关于人的内容，挖掘更深层的人性自身。

Triumph Gallery is pleased to present “Summer Special Group Exhibition of Triumph Gallery - The Green Ray II” on August 5th, 2018 at Triumph Gallery. This exhibition presents works by six artists, including Xu Hong, Yang Liming, Pan Jian, Tu Xi, Lu Song, and Xu Hongxiang.

The green ray, in light of its rarity, has been conceived as a perfect prophecy through people’s imagination. The contemporary art scene has become a place where successful art practice is believed to be the result of one certain method aided by occasional good chance, while its essential meaning has been obliterated by external obscurity. With the rapid development of China's social economy, the environment of contemporary art is becoming increasingly commercial and complicated. There are much more possibilities in art expression and methods for artists in this society with free access to information, frequent cultural exchanges and diversified thinking on various issues. Being different from artists of last generation, who focus more on social environment, the common feature of these six participated artist is that they all value the reflection and expression of individual life experience. In their works, they apply very individual and unique artistic language, to create individual styles, and ideas. Artists present their emotions and life experience via looking within themselves and finding inspirations through introspection. This kind of insight into oneself embodies the most essential value of art，i.e. art returns to issues about human, and explores deep into the human nature.

徐弘 | Xu Hong

徐弘，1970年生于重庆，1993年毕业于南京艺术学院美术系，现工作生活于南京。徐弘的作品忧郁而沉静，无论是描绘室内场景抑或是梦境化的叙事都带有浓重的情绪和个人风格。他的作品是由情感驱动的，油彩背后掩盖着暗流的强力涌动。

个人展览包括：“深谷桃源”（艾米李画廊，北京，2017）、“剎那KSANA：徐弘&秦艾”（今日美术馆，北京，2015）、“派对结束的清晨”（诸子美术馆，南京，2013）等。群展包括： “图像研究室第二回：绘画发生中的观念和语言”（正观美术馆，北京，2015）、“造化----中国当代艺术展”（Salamanca艺术中心，霍巴特,；204艺术空间，墨尔本；悉视空间，悉尼，澳大利亚，2016）、“现实墟‧视觉误”（艾米李画廊，北京，2015）等。

Xu Hong was born in Chongqing, China. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts Nanjing University of Arts in 1993, and lives and works in Nanjing. Xu’s works are melancholy yet serene. Intense emotions and shades of personal style are embodied utterly in his interior scenes and dreamy narrations. His works are driven by emotions; the strong surge of undercurrent is masked behind the oil paints.

Xu Hong’s solo exhibitions include: “Peach Orchard in the Valley” (Amy Li Gallery, Beijing, China, 2017), “KSANA : XU HONG & QIN AI” (Today Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2015), “The Morning after a Party” (Zhuzi Arts Center, Nanjing, China, 2013), etc. His group exhibitions include: “Image Research Room (No.2): Concept and Language in Painting Process” (Right View Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2015), “The Creator- Chinese Contemporary Art Exhibition” (Salamanca Art Center, Hobart; 204 Art Space, Melbourne; Visual Space, Sydney, Australia, 2016), “Ruins of Reality, Misguided Visions” (Amy Li Gallery, Beijing, China, 2015), etc.

杨黎明 | Yang Liming

杨黎明，1975年出生于四川，1999年毕业于四川师范大学艺术学院油画专业，职业艺术家，现居住、工作于北京，职业艺术家。他的抽象艺术实践独树一帜。作品画面的“书写性曲线”贯穿各个时期，也是他重要的语言元素，这种元素即源自书法的个人化书写与心灵感应的对应，而曲线运行始终有音乐般的节奏和韵律，则源自他对音乐的痴迷和细腻的体味。这种带有诗意的抽象表达，使画面中不仅蕴藏了古典元素，也彰显了其作品的当代内涵。

个人展览包括：“无相”（艺·凯旋艺术空间，北京，2017）、“空间·律动——杨黎明个展”（LOFT画廊 ，巴黎，法国，2015）、“写——杨黎明个展”（保利香港艺术空间，香港，2015）等。群展包括：“东学西见-中国当代艺术在纽伦堡”（Konfuzius-Institut，纽伦堡，德国，2017）、“中国式书写的维度”（波恩当代艺术馆，波恩，德国，2015）、“无形之形-中国当代抽象艺术展”（卢塞恩当代美术馆，瑞士，2014）等。

Yang Liming was born in Sichuan Province, China in 1975. He graduated from the Fine Arts College of Sichuan Normal University, majored in oil painting. Yang Liming now is a professional artist based in Beijing. The abstract artistic experiment of Yang Liming creates a separate school of his own. The “curves of graphology” in Yang’s works that run through each phase of his creation is a fatal language element in his paintings. The origin of this element lies in the interaction between personal graphology and spiritual feeling of calligraphy, while the harmonic cadence and rhythm in the motion of Yang’s curves come from his obsession and appreciation of classical music. This kind of abstract expression with poetic flavor makes the picture not only contain classical elements, but also reflects the contemporary connotation of his works.

Yang Liming’s solo exhibitions include: “ANIMITTA” (Triumph Art Space, Beijing, China, 2017), “ESPACES VIVANTS— Solo Exhibition of Yang Liming” (GALERIE LOFT, Paris, France, 2015), “WRITE—Solo Exhibition of Yang Liming” (Poly Gallery Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, 2015), etc.   His group exhibitions include: “Interaction—Contemporary Chinese Art in Nuremberg” (Konfuzius-Institut, Nuremberg, Germany, 2017), “Post-Calligraphy in Chinese Contemporary Art” (Kunstraum Villa Friede, Bonn-Mehlem, Germany, 2015), “Forms of the Formless” (Luzern Contemporary Art Museum, Switzerland, 2014), etc.

潘剑 | Pan Jian

潘剑，1975年出生，2001年毕业于西安美术学院油画系，获学士学位，留校任教，2008年毕业于西安美术学院油画系，获硕士学位，现工作、生活于北京和西安。他的作品以架上绘画为主，深受诗歌和中国传统美学的影响，通过对同一物象的深刻描绘，体现独特的审美倾向和绘画观点。

个人展览包括：“聿间观林—潘剑个展”（艺·凯旋画廊，北京，2018）、“对流层的光”“光的阴影”“阴影的边缘”（赞善里10号画廊 ，香港，2017、2015、2013）、“陌生化图像”（今日美术馆，北京，2010）等。群展包括：“界限之外”（RH当代艺术，纽约，美国，2014）、“溪山清远—中国新绘画”（亚洲艺术博物馆，旧金山，美国，2011）、“改造历史-中国青年新艺术邀请展”（阿拉里奥画廊，北京，2010）等。

Pan Jian was born in 1975. He graduated from the oil painting department of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor´s degree in 2001, and taught in the academy. In 2008, Pan Jian received the master’s degree in the same department. Now he works and lives in Beijing and Xi’an. Most of his works are easel paintings, which are deeply influenced by poem and traditional Chinese aesthetics. His unique aesthetic tendency and views on painting are embodied in the in-depth delineation on the same one subject.

Pan Jian’s solo exhibitions include: “Seeing the Forest through the Brush – Pan Jian Solo Exhibition” (Triumph Gallery, Beijing, China, 2018), “Light of the Troposphere”, “Shadow of Light”, “The Realm of the Shadows” (10 Chancery Lane Gallery, Hong Kong, China, 2017, 2015, 2013), “Strange Image: Painting Solo Show-Pan Jian” (Today Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2010), etc. His group exhibitions include: “Outside the Lines: New Art from China” (RH Contemporary Art Gallery, New York, U.S.A., 2014), “Pure Views- New Painting from China” (Asian Art Museum, San Francisco, U.S.A., 2011), “Reshaping History- China Youth New Art Invitational Exhibition” (Arario Gallery, Beijing, China, 2010), etc.

涂曦 | Tu Xi

涂曦，1982年出生，2009年毕业于中央美术学院写意油画班，2006 毕业于中国人民大学艺术学院，现工作、生活于北京。他的作品用形状、色彩、材料质感、空间语言制造出一个观众易于进入和感知的现实景观，并非图像本身，而是带有人性温度，个体经验，集体无意识的集合体。

个人展览包括:“观念的皮层”（艺·凯旋艺术空间，北京，2016）、“亲切的疏离感”（北京空间，北京，2013）等。群展包括：“绿光青年艺术家群展”（ 艺·凯旋画廊，北京，2017）“青衿计划——青年艺术家联展”（正观美术馆，北京，2016）、“互黑是一把双刃剑”（艺凯旋艺术空间，北京，2015）等。

Tu Xi was born in 1982, he graduated from Renmin University of China School of Arts in 2006, and graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2009. Tu Xi is now living and working in Beijing. 

In Tu Xi’s work, the shapes, colours, the texture of the materials, and the spatial language create a real scene that is accessible and tangible to viewers. The images are the collection of personal experience and collective unconscious with humanistic concern.

His solo exhibitions include: “Conceptual Cortex----Tu Xi Solo Exhibition” (Triumph Gallery, Beijing, China, 2016), "The Kind Sense of Alienation----Tu Xi Solo Exhibition” (Gallery Beijing Space, Beijing, China, 2013), etc. His group exhibitions include: “The Green Ray----Young Artist Group Exhibition” (Triumph Gallery, Beijing, China, 2017), “Elite Young Artists Program" (Rightview Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2016), "Making Fun of Each Other----A Double-Edge Sword" (Triumph Art Space, Beijing, China, 2015), etc.

吕松 | Lu Song

吕松，1982年出生于北京，2005年毕业于英国伍尔弗汉普顿大学绘画专业，获学士学位。2006年毕业于英国温布尔登艺术学院绘画专业，获硕士学位。现工作、生活于北京。他的作品注重心理体验的表达。从图像和质感两方面，基于某种感觉与情绪，通过细腻的笔触与颜色，向观众传递出丰富的视觉、触觉想象。

个人展览包括：“楼上的房间”（MDC画廊，伦敦，英国，2018）、“流”（OCAT西安馆， 西安，2017）、“控制点”（东画廊，上海，2017）等。群展包括：“作为窄门的绘画：80后艺术家邀请展”（蜂巢当代艺术中心，北京，2016）、“幻光一瞬”（锦艺舫，香港，2016）、“怀景之二”（科恩画廊，上海，2015）等。

Lu Song was born in 1982 in Beijing. He received bachelor´s degree in painting from University of Wolverhampton in 2005, and received master’s degree in painting from Wimbledon College of Art, University of London in 2006. Lu Song is now working and living in Beijing. The artist focuses on the expression of mental experience. In his works, the fertile visual and textual imagination is conveyed by his very fine brushwork and colours in terms of image and the artistic quality, with certain feeling and emotion.

His solo exhibitions include: “The Room Upstairs” (Massimo De Carlo, London, United Kingdom, 2018), “Flow” (OCAT Xi’an, Xi’an, China, 2017), “Control Point” (Don Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2017), etc. His group exhibitions include: “Painting as Strait Gate: Post-80s Artists Invitation Exhibition” (Hive Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, China, 2016), “Magic Hour” (Galerie Huit, Hong Kong, China, 2016), “In Memory of a Landscape 2” (James Cohen Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2015), etc.

许宏翔 | Xu Hongxiang

许宏翔，1984年生于中国长沙，2007年毕业于中央美院版画系，获学士学位，2011毕业于中央美院版画系，获硕士学位，现工作、生活于北京。他的作品以架上绘画为主，前期感兴趣于“绘画与图像之间的关系”，目前通过一些个人项目着重探讨“绘画和现实之间的关系”。

个人展览和个人项目包括：“黑夜未至－许宏翔个展”（艺·凯旋画廊，北京，2018）、“许宏翔作品展”（圣之艺术中心，北京，2014）、“下地”（湖南，2016）、“李强”（湖南，2016）等。近期群展包括：“视态之问”（广东美术馆，广州，2017）、“东方物语”（中国美术馆，北京，2017）、“向心力”（悉尼美术学院美术馆，悉尼，澳大利亚，2017）、“裂变的流徙”（Kommunale美术馆，柏林，德国，2017）等。 

Xu Hongxiang was born in Changsha, Hunan province in 1984. He graduated from the printmaking department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) with a bachelor´s degree in 2007, and received the master’s degree from the same department in 2011. He currently works and lives in Beijing. Xu’s works are mainly easel paintings. In his prior phase, Xu is interested in “the relationships between painting and image”. Recently, Xu focuses on discussing “the relationships between painting and reality” through several individual projects. 

His solo exhibitions and individual programs include: “Not Dark Yet - Xu Hongxiang Solo Exhibition" (Triumph Gallery, Beijing, China, 2018), "Xu Hongxiang Solo Exhibition" (SZ Art Center, Beijing, China, 2014), "In the Field" (Hunan, China, 2016), "Li Qiang" (Hunan, China, 2016), etc. The latest group exhibitions include: “Visual Questions” (Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangdong, China, 2017), “Oriental Story” (NAMOC, Beijing, China, 2017), “Centripetal Force” (Sydney College of the Art SCA Galleries, Sydney, Australia, 2017), “The Migration of Fission” (Kommunale Galerie Berlin, Berlin, Germany, 2017), etc.

Triumph Gallery was founded in 2007 in the heart of 798 Art Zone, Beijing and forms strong relations with Asian collectors since over 10 years. The Triumph Gallery represents established and emerging Chinese contemporary artists, such as Fang Lijun, Pan Dehai, Jia Difei, Liang Ying, Li Yuduan, Li Xinjian, Cai Jin, Xu Hong, Yang Liming, Pan Jian, He Jie, Tu Xi, Xu Hongxiang and Zhang Kai. The mission of Triumph Gallery is to work on the careers of artists, by enabling collaborations with museums and institutions and by supporting projects outside of the gallery walls. Various exhibitions have been organized and curated by influential curators.
